What we do...
Started by former Chokehold/Seventy-Eight Days front man Chris Logan in 1996 as a means to help release some of the best unheard music in hardcore, Tattoo Records has quickly grown into one of the most respected imprints in the genre. The last five years has seen the label become a more active entity; it already has more than 26 releases in its catalogue.
The history of the label so far includes launching the careers of bands such as Every Time I Die (Ferret Records), xDisciplex AD (Triple Crown), Premonitions Of War (Victory Records) and Seventy-Eight Days (Trustkill) as well as building a roster of bands that currently includes NC's Bloodjinn, San Francisco noise mongers Blessing The Hogs, Orange County intellicore kings Taken and Quebec metallic warriors A Perfect Murder. On top of this, Goodfellow has also released one-offs by such artists as Spitfire and Society's Finest.
Now a jaded old man of 30ish years old, Chris hates hardcore and can't even believe he continues to pour his hard earned money into such a dying piece of crap. But no one said he was smart so the madness continues. |
